Application to send luggage to Japan
Yamato will do the application for you to pass the customs by air or/and by sea. Attention: Without the customs declaration, the application will never be finished.

We recommend making an appointment one month before departure.Appointment may be full due to the seasons.

Is on-site evaluation necessary？
The on-site evaluation is not only uesed to check the number of baggage, but also adjust the schedule and answer your questions . It is highly recommended.
Please tell us the number of days from the date of
moving to the date of delivery. (Overseas)
Usually it takes 30 ~ 40 days by ship and about 14 days by air. If the destination is Tokyo,different periods (hot or slack season) will affect the required date. Please confirm with the office in advance.
Can you provide a price catalog of moving expenses?

We don't have a price catalog. We customize the moving service for each customer based on their requirements.
Is the service available in Japanese?
Our staff can communicate in Japanese, some of them are proficient in Chinese and English.No worry forcommunication.
What kind of documents are required before moving?
Overseas moving requires a lot of documents for customs clearance. Our staff will introduce carefully. Especially in China, when moving baggage out, it is necessary to submit application to the estate management office.
Please confirm with the office in advance.
How to prepare my baggage?
During our on-site evaluation,please keep the original living condition and inform the items to be air/ship transported. On the day of moving, please point out the items to be air/ship transported, the items to be discarded and the landlord's items. Our staff will pack the items. For customers, it is no need to fill the carton with items in advance.
Is furniture disassembly/assembly contained in the
service?
Except for some brand furniture such as IKEA, etc., our staff will properly disassemble some furniture for the transport and reassemble it
Is the carton size specified? Can I deliver the baggage
without special cartons?
In order to transport goods safe and effectively, we choose strong cartons for overseas moving. Baggage that cannot be packed into cartons should be packed with auxiliary items such as air buffer material, corrugated paper and other packing materials.
